About Dr Mel Fung
Mel Fung is a counselling psychologist who is also a Christian, member of an evangelical Anglican church in Sydney, Australia. Mel enjoys using her psychology knowledge and skills to help Christians and people who are not Christians.
Mel has the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
(University of Sydney)
Doctor of Counselling Psychology
Diploma of Bible and Missions
(Moore Theological College)
Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Mel has practised as a psychologist since 2002. Her experience includes university student counselling, gambling addiction counselling, counselling for people with intellectual disabilities, therapy at The Rod Power Psychology Clinic at Macquarie University and a private psychiatric hospital. Mel has also conducted extensive research into eating problems and parenting issues.
